We offer dozens of add-ons so that even our standard carts can be customized to fit the needs of a specific facility. Our custom capabilities go far beyond the below options, but check out a few things that can modified/added onto any of our USA-made material handling equipment to make it extra special.
Safety Ladder
Safety Ladder converts cart or bin into a sure-footed stock picker. User's weight depresses spring-loaded ladder for firm, positive non-slip bearing.
Step Lock/Handle Locking-Mechanism
The Step Lock is standard on many ladder carts and may be ordered as an option on others. Locks down ladder even when user is off ladder to eliminate rolling on inclines or while loading cart. Large ladders have optional locking mechanism using a push-handle.
Writing Shelf
Provides convenient out-of-the-way protection for stock lists or other papers. Slides out from beneath top shelf from either end of cart. Available on all carts with flat shelves.
Extension Shelf
A 6-inch reinforced shelf-extension is available for all low and medium height ladder trucks with a top shelf.
Sanded Steps
Sand-grit step surfaces may be ordered for ladders in place of the standard step-tread.
Tool Boxes
Any size metal container can be welded to unit for use as tool box, scanner holder, etc.
Cup Holders
Cup holders can be welded to cart for convenience or to work as a pen holder.
Shin Bumpers
Foam added to front steps to protect user against injury.
Custom Flange patterns
Units can be ordered with whichever flange pattern desired.
Foam Grips
Black ergonomic foam grips for increased comfort for user.
Fork Pockets
Gives any unit the ability to be lifted with a forklift of stock picker.
High Capacity Casters
Capacity can be increased to 1,000 lbs. per caster (4,000- 6,000 total weight capacity). Add Casters to Any Model Any model can be converted into a mobile unit (forklift platforms, racks, etc.) by adding casters.
Custom Rubber Feet
Sturdy ladder feet with increased surface area and non-slip rubber bottom increases stability when locking mechanism is engaged. These are ideal for mezzanines or rough flooring.
Phone/Monitor Holders
Custom-sized electronic holders may be welded to any area on cart.
Corner bumpers
Corner bumpers act as added protection when cart is prone to frequent bumping and collisions.
Removable Trash Receptacle
Custom-sized trash receptacle can attach to cart and can be easily removed for emptying.
Custom Colors
Any unit can be powder-coated or anodized to any color desired. These finishes make our carts extra durable when exposed to the elements.
Spring-Loaded Shelf
Absorbs impact when dropping heavy items on shelf.
Custom Material
Rol-Away units can be made in aluminum, steel, or stainless steel.
